One of the great things about Instagram is tagging your images with a location. When you post those images to your site with the plugin you can access the location data to use in your content. You can also display Google Maps of the image’s location.
Location Data
You can use the template tags %%location-name%%
, %%location-lat%%
and %%location-lng%%
.
Single Maps
A single map of the image location using %%map%%
. The settings for the map can be defined in the account settings.
Multi Image Maps
You can display a map showing all the locations of your images. If you have your setting of Multiple Media set to ‘Grouped Media’ you can select the Multi map to appear either at the top or bottom of the post. If you are posting to the same post you will need to add this shortcode to it, amending the settings where releavent.
[igp_multimap style="ROADMAP" zoom="15" class="" width="100" height="400" width_type="percent" height_type="pixel"]
Map styles can be ROADMAP, HYBRID, SATELLITE or TERRAIN.
